On the Road Again

Travel really gives you a good perspective on life doesnt it? You are stuck in a car, plane, or other type of vehicle for some amount of time and often you are left to your own devices for entertainment.

While this can be an important time for reflection, I also find it a good way to look inward for inspiration. As countless travelers hit the planes, trains, and automobiles this summer, many will seek out gadgets, gizmos, or devices to make their trip easier, vacation more enjoyable, or walk through security less eventfull.

Funny how when looking for one thing you often find something completely different. Michael has some really good advice for those looking to flip, and has some examples of his recent flipping.

Don't just flip and run, reflection is the key to balance

In Mind Like Water: Keeping Your Balance in a Chaotic World , Jim Ballard talks about meditation, reflection, and thinking in a mind like water state. I bought this some time ago and have been reading it slowly. It's definately a find at your local library, or used via ebay or Amazon .
